While living in Germany, I had the opportunity to travel to lots of different countries....France, Belgium, Spain, England, just to name a few. I think one of my most memorable experiences was when we drove through the Black Forest and into Switzerland. We spent a few days in Lucerne then drove through the alps to Austria. It was one of the most beautiful trips I have ever taken. When living there, we had a lot of beautiful birds in our area too, that would come from Africa. Our favorite get away now is to the Smokies and go 3 or 4 times each year.
